RRB ALP Selection Process 2024
First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-1): This initial screening phase aims to assess the candidate’s general intelligence, reasoning ability, mathematical proficiency, and awareness of current affairs. It serves to sift through the large pool of applicants, narrowing down the numbers for subsequent stages.
Second Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-2): The second computer-based test for the Assistant Loco Pilot position consists of two parts. Part A covers topics such as Mathematics, Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and Current Affairs. Part B evaluates the candidate’s specific technical knowledge required for the job.
Computer-Based Aptitude Test (Only for ALP): This test evaluates the candidate’s psychomotor skills and presence of mind. Candidates need to attain a minimum score to qualify for this test, and this score is applicable only to candidates applying for the ALP position.
