- Assistant Staff Officer: Graduate from a recognized university (in any stream)
- Technical Assistants: Bachelor’s in Engineering (CS/IT/Electronics & Communication) OR Master’s in MCA or M.Sc. IT (AICTE approved)

- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 40 years (as on 01-01-2025)
- For internal bank employees (with 6+ years of service): Max age 45 years
- Citizenship: Must be a Sikkim Subject or Certificate of Identification Holder
